LOCAL GoGREEN 🌱 was present at the Sustainable Development and Planning 2024 (Wessex Institute), thanks to the interventions of our partner Institute of Methodologies for Environmental Analysis (Institute of Methodologies for Environmental Analysis (CNR-IMAA).

📌 The conference, held in hashtag#Seville (Spain) from 23 to 25 September, focused on promoting and disseminating the latest advances in planning and development strategies, assessment tools and decision-making processes.

🎤 Monica Salvia showed a presentation in person at the conference entitled “𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗼 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁” authored by herself and colleagues Filomena Pietrapertosa, Luigi Santopietro, Carmelina (Lina) Cosmi, and partners of the project: Cveta Dimitrova, Benjamin Hueber, Edita Pajaziti, Ivana Mikulic, Dr. Uli Jakob, Elis Vollmer,
Len Milich, Beatriz Soler and Roman Kekec.

The purpose of this presentation was to introduce the LGG methodological framework and to present the preliminary results obtained from the pilot cases before the end of the first year of activity.

In particular, in order to lay the foundations for the realisation of the ICEPs, the focus was on the preparation of the 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 (𝗦𝗔𝗥𝘀) and the archive of the main 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀 approved (or being approved) by the pilot municipalities, whose main features (plan/strategy, GHG reduction commitments, network partnership, etc.) were shown and compared.
