We’re excited to share that the LOCAL GoGREEN project was proudly represented at the Net Zero Tech event held on June 4–5 in Barcelona, hosted at the stand of our project partner A3E. Throughout the two-day event, our stand attracted many visitors interested in the latest solutions for energy efficiency and the decarbonization of the economy. After a fascinating historical visit yesterday to explore the rich cultural heritage of the region, today we officially begin our fourth transnational partner meeting in the beautiful town of Dryanovo. On Monday, March 31, at the Domenico Savio School in Potenza (Italy), a team from the Institute of Methodologies for Environmental Analysis (CNR-IMAA), including researchers Monica Salvia and Filomena Pietrapertosa, led a workshop with third-year students on “Climate Change and Cities”. The session provided an opportunity to discuss key climate change challenges and promote more sustainable and responsible behaviors. After an introduction to the concepts of mitigation and adaptation, the discussion focused on the critical role cities and citizens must play in addressing the climate crisis. 🎯 The team from Institute of Methodologies for Environmental Analysis (CNR-IMAA): Monica Salvia, Filomena Pietrapertosa, Carmelina (Lina) Cosmi, Senatro Di Leo, and Luigi Santopietro proudly represented the LIFE LOCAL GoGREEN project at the two-day event, which was attended by around 100 people per day on site in Rome on February 27th 2025. 🏙️ Organized by the Institute of Methodologies for Environmental Analysis of the National Research Council (CNR-IMAA), the conference brought together experts from academia, government, and NGOs to exchange knowledge and develop practical solutions for sustainable urban development. Our team is working to assess the State-of-Play in each of the 6 municipal pilots: 📌Ormož, Slovenia 📌Dryanovo, Bulgaria 📌Tito, Italy 📌Ponferrada, Spain 📌Antunovac, Croatia 📌Albstadt, Germany ….identifying key market stakeholders and evaluating institutional capacity for Integrated Climate and Energy Plans. The LOCAL GoGREEN project 🌱 proudly participated in the workshop “Tutela del territorio e sviluppo industriale” (𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁) held in Tito, Potenza (Italy), with around 130 participants on site. 🎯 Tito is one of the 6 pilot municipalities involved in our project, through our partner Institute of Methodologies for Environmental Analysis (CNR-IMAA).
