After a fascinating historical visit yesterday to explore the rich cultural heritage of the region, today we officially begin our fourth transnational partner meeting in the beautiful town of Dryanovo. Youth and Sustainability: Shaping the Future of Our Cities
On Monday, March 31, at the Domenico Savio School in Potenza (Italy), a team from the Institute of Methodologies for Environmental Analysis (CNR-IMAA), including researchers Monica Salvia and Filomena Pietrapertosa, led a workshop with third-year students on “Climate Change and Cities”. LGG in the workshop “Land protection and industrial development” in Tito, Italy

On September 25th, LOCAL GoGREEN will take part in the workshop 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗩𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 W𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽, hosted by the event Sustainable Places Conference 2024. Second meeting with Albstadt as part of the LOCAL GoGREEN project
On August 1st, the second in-person LOCAL GoGREEN meeting took place at the City of Albstadt, Germany. During the meeting the goals for the clean energy transition (CET) of the municipality and further steps in the collaboration with LOCAL GoGREEN 🌱 were presented. The meeting was attended by representatives of the City Council, the municipal utilities and our partner dr. jakob energy research GmbH & Co.KG. Intense discussions gave more insights about what is happening in Albstadt with regards on CET and what will be necessary to be implemented in the future. The 𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗚𝗼𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗡 partners, namely Institute of Methodologies for Environmental Analysis (CNR-IMAA), A3E, dr. jakob energy research GmbH & Co.KG, ABERON OOD., University of Tartu and EIfI-Tech, have been very actively disseminating the objectives, activities, scope and pilot municipalities of our project in different types of events, workshops, webinars and fairs. First meeting with Dryanovo municipality as part of the LOCAL GoGREEN project
On July 10, 2024, our partner ABERON OOD. held a meeting with stakeholders in Dryanovo municipality as part of the LOCAL GoGREEN project. The purpose of the meeting was to present the project in front of citizens and stakeholders and inform them about its mission, goals and progress. Two renowned energy experts – Stefan Abadzhiev and Elenko Bozhkov, were present to answer any questions and concerns citizens might have. From 11 to 13 june, Helena Maripuu and Elis Vollmer, both of them Project managers from our partner @unitartu , attended the Stand C-6, titled “Sustainable Revolution and Clean Energy Transition in Central and Eastern Europe”. During EUSEW they held informal meetings with companies from the private sector, third sector (NGO’s), academia etc. Many of them showed their interest in the LOCAL GoGREEN project and expressed their willingness to follow its evolution through dissemination channels (web, social media…).
