LOCAL GoGREEN in the workshop ‘𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗔𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲’, organised by SHERLOCK project
Over 60 professionals from energy, building, and financial sectors came together to discuss opportunities, challenges, and solutions in the sector during the workshop “Energy Renovation in Buildings Across Europe”, organised by the SHERLOCK project on 8 October.
🎤 As speaker, Carmelina (Lina) Cosmi, head of the Energy and Climate (E&C) Unit at Institute of Methodologies for Environmental Analysis (CNR-IMAA), presented to the audience a contribution entitled ‘𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀: 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀’, in which she illustrated the methodology of the LOCAL GoGREEN project and the preliminary results concerning the characterisation of local communities.
📌 The insights of the LOCAL GoGREEN project emphasised the key role of local communities in driving the energy transition to achieve the European 2030 goals and the ambitious climate neutrality target, providing the audience with interesting perspectives on other projects as well.
📌 The workshop was a unique gathering of industry experts, policy makers, practitioners and stakeholders from across the continent, all coming together to explore innovative strategies to improve the energy efficiency of buildings.
