European municipalities play a vital role in advancing sustainability and achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). LOCAL GoGREEN 🌱 recently took part in the workshop 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗩𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, hosted by the event Sustainable Places Conference 2024, together with 5 other European projects funded within the framework of the LIFE CET Programme. All these projects are developing tools ⚙ , methods ➡ and capacity building ✍ programs for 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 and 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗩𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. 💡 At the event, all projects presented their methods and tools to involve and support local stakeholders at municipality level. On 8th October, LOCAL GoGREEN was represented at the workshop on 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲 by Carmelina (Lina) Cosmi, from our partner Institute of Methodologies for Environmental Analysis (CNR-IMAA). The workshop delved into successful case studies and models of energy renovation projects from various European countries. Attendees gained a comprehensive understanding of the current European regulations, incentives, and funding mechanisms that support energy-efficient renovations across the continent. On September 25th, LOCAL GoGREEN will take part in the workshop 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗩𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 W𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽, hosted by the event Sustainable Places Conference 2024.
