LGG in the workshop “Land protection and industrial development” in Tito, Italy

The LOCAL GoGREEN project 🌱 proudly participated in the workshop “Tutela del territorio e sviluppo industriale” (𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁) held in Tito, Potenza (Italy), with around 130 participants on site.

🎯 Tito is one of the 6 pilot municipalities involved in our project, through our partner Institute of Methodologies for Environmental Analysis (CNR-IMAA).

The event brought together 🤝 national, regional, and local policymakers, industry and research experts, practitioners (engineers, geologists, and lawyers), and engaged citizens in a dialogue about the challenges and opportunities in 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

Key highlights from the event:
📌 The workshop focused on addressing environmental criticalities, fostering redevelopment, and enhancing the infrastructure of the Tito industrial area.
📌During a round table, Monica Salvia and Monica Proto emphasized the strong collaboration between Institute of Methodologies for Environmental Analysis (CNR-IMAA) and the municipality of Tito in advancing the 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 under the LOCAL GoGREEN project.
📌 In addition, Filomena Pietrapertosa presented the project, showcasing its goals and progress through a detailed roll-up display strategically placed at the conference hall entrance.

The event was hosted by Mayor 𝗙𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗼 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗼 and Eng. 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗼, who underscored the importance of 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

This workshop contributed to disseminate the LOCAL GoGreen findings and resulted in a great interest of the audience, enlarging the opportunities of networking and to improve 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲𝘀.
