LOCAL GoGREEN Open Training Week kicks off in Ponferrada
At the end of September, the city of Ponferrada hosted the LOCAL GoGREEN Open Training Week at Fundación Ciudad de la Energía (CIUDEN), in collaboration with the City Council of Ponferrada and key regional energy stakeholders.
The opening session featured insightful contributions from:
🔹 𝗟𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗰𝗮, Councillor for the Presidency, City of Ponferrada
🔹 Ricardo González Mantero, Head of the Department of External Relations, Research and Training at EREN – Regional Public Energy Agency of Junta de Castilla y León
🔹 Antonio López-Nava Muñoz, Managing Director of A3E, who presented the LOCAL GoGREEN project and the in-person training program.
After a networking coffee break, the session continued with a deep dive into Integrated Climate and Energy Plans, led by Guillermo J. Escobar, member of the Transnational Expert Group (GTE).
💬 The event attracted a diverse group of participants eager to learn about sustainable municipal planning, integrated energy and climate strategies, and practical tools for local transformation.
