LOCAL GoGREEN Training Held in Albstadt, Germany
LOCAL GoGREEN training was successfully held in Albstadt, Germany. The event was hosted by project partner JER Dr. Jakob Energy Research GmbH & Co. KG. It brought together local companies and stakeholders to explore their role in the climate and energy transition.
The training focused on how companies can actively contribute to the Climate and Energy Transition (CET) by adopting practical measures and aligning their strategies with local, regional, and European climate objectives.
The event opened with welcoming remarks by Roland Tralmer, Mayor of the City of Albstadt. This was followed by a presentation from Benjamin (JER Dr. Jakob Energy Research), who introduced the LOCAL GoGREEN project and outlined ambitious climate targets at EU, national, regional (Baden-Württemberg), and local levels. The session highlighted that achieving climate neutrality requires coordinated action and shared responsibility across all governance levels. It opened a dialogue with the participants for discussion of key barriers and opportunities to climate transformation
The IHK Reutlingen supported the training event, as Jonas von Festenberg introduced the EU co-funded KEFF+ Check and shared best-practice examples from companies that have already completed measures from the check.
